Granadilla, the sweet Passion Fruit. Granadilla is a roundish oval fruit with shiny orange skin. The skin is hard and inedible but is easy to cut. The fruit contains a jelly-like pulp with black edible seeds. The taste of the flesh is lovely and sweet. Granadillas are best kept out of the fridge at home.
The sweet granadilla also contains a lot of potassium, calcium, iron, and fibre, as well as proteins and carbohydrates. Moreover, it is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B9, C, E, K, and provitamin A.
