HOW TO USE
Storage Condition
Place Valencia Orange at room temperature in an open bowl, out of direct sunlight. To maximize shelf life, store Valencia Orange unwashed in the fridge to avoid moisture retention on the skin that can lead to mold and spoilage. Otherwise, wash fruit and dry it thoroughly with a cloth before storing.
Preparation and usage
Wash each Valencia Oranges with water and rub the surfaces gently under running water and dry with a paper towel. For juicing, cut crosswise in half from the middle and squeeze juice using any mechanical or powered juicer. Valencia Oranges are commonly used for their juice but may also be cooked or eaten fresh. Use the juice and zest for marinades, syrups, vinaigrette, cocktails or to flavor sauces and custards. It can also be preserved into jams and pickles or dried into natural candies.
